DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY1: Tangier - Asila - Chefchaouen
our 4 day morocco tour from spain will start with an early Pick up from your accommodation in Tangier, meet at the Tangier Ville or Tangier Med port before embarking on a journey of 4 days Morocco tour from Spain in the north of Morocco. We will drive by the Atlantic Ocean to the charming and tranquil town of Asilah. Meander around its intricate and beautifully painted streets of the Medina sampling the local culture and enjoying the breathtaking views. Asilah is known for the annual festival of arts when painters and artists from all over the world come to the Medina to leave their artistic stamps on its walls.
Later, we will continue on the track to the blue-city of Chefchaouen driving through the spectacular Rif Mountains. Arrive in Chefchaouen in the late afternoon and assist with your luggage to your Riad/hotel in the Medina.
Day2: Full-Day Exploring Chefchaouen
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad in Chefchaouen, will continue our 4 day morocco tour from spain and you will spend the day exploring the charming Medina starting from the strategic Utta el-Hammam Square, which is located in the heart of the Medina. You may want to visit the adjacent Kasbah that was built by Moulay Ali Ibn Rashid in the 15th century to fight against the Spanish and Portuguese invaders.
Lose yourself in the blue-painted streets of the Medina that are shrouded in mystery, pass-by a local bakery, tiny shops, children playing in the streets and much more before getting to the panoramic Ras el-Ma Spring. It is a cultural hub as in here women tend to wash clothes and carpets by the stream. You may want to extend your experience by including a soft hike uphill from where you can get a panoramic view of the blue-painted Medina.
Later, walk back to the square where you may want to have lunch before resuming your day of exploration in the evening.
Day3: Chefchaouen - Tetouan - Tangier
Today, we will head to Tangier through the Rif Mountains exploring the UNESCO-listed Medina of Tetouan,which is often called “the White Pigeon”. It has a rich history but it witnessed prosperous years when the wealthy Muslim & Jewish communities settled in the city after being expelled by the Spanish.
Later, we will continue on the track to Tangier where we will drop you off in your accommodation marking the end of our third day.
Day4: Explore Tangier
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad in Tangier, we will spend the day exploring the mysterious city of Tangier with a local tour guide who know the city like the back of his hand. We will have a tour around Tangier visiting the promontory Cap Spartel that offers majestic views. It is believed in the location both the Mediterranean & the Atlantic seas converge.
Drive along the Atlantic Ocean to the pre-historic Hercules Caves before driving back to the dramatic Kasbah where you will visit the Kasbah Museum. It was resided by the late Moulay Ismail Sultan in the 17th century before turning it into a museum that exhibits Moroccan antiques. Explore the vibrant of Medina with its shops and busy life before ending our tour by your accommodation, port or airport. End of 4 day morocco tour from spain.
